[Feature request] Option to disable animation for likes under videos
⚬ PROBLEM:
The likes animation under videos is distracting (and probably also ram-consuming). By "likes animation" I mean the number of likes going up in real time with that slot machine effect.
⚬ SOLUTION:
It would be nice to have an option to disable that animation. (Bonus if it aligns the numbers like normal, instead of having one number at a different height like this.)
⚬ RELEVANCE / SCOPE:
I feel like a good number of people don't really care about knowing that a video they're watching just got an extra [x] amount of likes (especially at the cost of some performance), and that for some people (like me) can even be distracting/annoying.
⚬ "SIDE EFFECTS":
I don't think there would be any side effects. Since it would be an option, those that prefer the fancy slot-machine effect animation can simply not disable it.
hi, same for(?)...those automatic rainbow outlines around the "like & subscribe"-buttons, whenever these words appear in videos?
Yes, it would be lovely if there was an option to disable those too!
Hey, May be this issue should be closed right? @ImprovedTube
