Remember playback Speed
⚬ PROBLEM:
I listen most of the videos at greater speed than normal. Whenever I open a music video I have to manually change the sped back to normal and re increase it when the video changes to something else.
⚬ SOLUTION:
One solution could be to remember the setup speed for each channel.
⚬ ALTERNATIVES:
I am not sure if this is possible to identify if a video is a musical one (if it is not marked as such by you tube or the creator) and automatically switch the sped to normal only for them. The existing option does not work.

Hi @ImprovedTube, I'd like to work on this issue. Could you please assign it to me? Thanks!
Hi @ksiansf,
Could you please clarify which existing option isn't working for you?
Are you referring to:
Player → Speed-watching: permanent speed
Or to:
Shortcuts → Playback speed
Or are you aiming to adjust YouTube's native playback speed so that it reflects in the native speed control pop-up menu?
Understanding your specific needs will help us assist you more effectively.
Playback speed seems to work. Speed-watching: Permanen speed seems to work too. I have the option Force playback speed even for music deactivated, but nevertheless the speed stays increased even for music videos.
Thank you for the clarification. I've observed that in Chrome, the playback speed resets to default as expected. However, since the “Force playback speed even for music” option isn't functioning as intended for you, would you like to add the bug label to this issue? Alternatively, if you were already aware of this behavior and are seeking a separate implementation that integrates with the Shortcuts feature (without enforcing playback speed), please let me know.
If addressing the bug resolves your concern, could you please provide additional details about your environment? Specifically, the Operating System and the browser you're using, along with the versions of both the browser and the extension if possible.
I am using Firefox 137.0.2 64-bit. Extension version 4.1188. Win 11 pro V10.0.22631
