Feature: 🗑️Remove from Playlist (front page, and player), or 📌Show its in playlist
⚬ PROBLEM: I'm always frustrated when removed 'saved for later' items. Particularly when shown on front page, and when I don't know its saved from the video.
In particular, I would love to be able to one-click delete a video while browsing the front page (or subscriptions page) and see on hover that it is a saved video and I have already seen it or no longer wish to see it.
Similarly on a playing video, it hard to tell if a video is already saved, and removing it needs several clicks across the screen to navigate and remove from all playlists or from Watch Later.
⚬ SOLUTION:
My suggestion for this would be a 🗑️ icon to get visibility & trigger the necessary routines, but I would also understand and appreciate dropdownmenu easy-access to this.
Alternatively, can we show a 📌saved icon to visually show the same time the hover-to-reveal-its-saved is availble?
⚬ RELEVANCE / SCOPE: I think this would be hypothetically used by majority of users to cut back on existing playlists
⚬ "SIDE EFFECTS":
I don't think this conflicts with other features.
I think there would be some purists that would not like this occupying space in menus or onscreen.
⚬ CONTEXT: None that I can think of
Cheers!

hi @generrosity! we have an icon to block recommendation in the top left of thumbnails. @Raszpl dived into and cared for our blocklist feature a lot these days: https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/pull/2098
always show 📌'from your Watch Later playlist'
Sound good too & might be possible to add to our extension with a single CSS rule and no JS.
To say it another way
I'd love to "always" see this: id=endorsement
(usually hidden and empty)
(hover mode showing "From your Water later playlist" and the additional content on hover)
and have a oneclick "Remove" button to remove from your water later playlist.
I don't think a simple CSS will work, as the sub-elements are missing until the hover happens :(
