Visual bug when playing video music.
Bug Report:
⚬ BUG:
When using sidebar for comment and playlist for music video (where the video is just square image of album cover), the web is cropped and centered.
Also for reference, I got this bug when playing these video :

All of that has video that only contain square of images of their album. While this extensions is already great to use with ordinary video, the reason I still use youtube for music is because music.youtube just don't have the "right" music for me, so I still prefer using youtube for music. Thank you. ⚬ HOW: I use this extensions on Firefox, and use these configuration for the extensions : All aside Appearance is in default state All Appearance OFF except for :
- Comment -> Sidebar
- Comment -> toggleColumnComments
- Comment -> simpleAlternative
- Sidebar -> Chapter

1. Thanks for coming & caring! Before submitting, please check if the issue has already been reported ever. With GitHub's issue search (use this link) (else removing "is:issue is:open" from the standard search) ( - If it was posted before, you can answer/react there to give it your voice and move it up in the lists) ( - If the status is "closed" (=fixed) recently, then Web Stores can be updated soon - if it was closed month or years ago, then it might reappeared & must be fixed again.)
2. To give us a chance to solve the bug: Can you ...?:
- ..deactivate other extensions running on YouTube? (or use an incognito window after activating this extension to run there / chrome://extensions details chrome://extensions/?id=bnomihfieiccainjcjblhegjgglakjdd )
- ..open the Browser-console, with the F12-Key, before/when the error occures? (then hopefully you'll see an error message in the console).
- ...copy the YouTube-DOM shown above the console (F12) in case YouTube is giving you a new verson. You can copying the root element <html> in the top after the bug happened:

- There are 2-3 different versions depending if you open a new window or clicked a link on youtube

can you try it with only one of these enabled (they are not meant to use at once, we can make the switched disable each other in the next update) .
(else please try without other features one by one like Sidebar -> Chapter)
hi @ImprovedTube thank you for replying I just noticed this bug yesterday when I wanted to check the comment, and it happen on every video that I mentioned ( they all only have square picture as video ).
I have tried enabling only sidebar, without simpleAlternative, and without Chapter. I also disabled my cache for every changes I made, but the bug still persist.
hi @garrychrstn, I had the same problem and I fixed it by changing the player size (Appearance > Player) to 720p. Hope this helps
Hi @NRPLAYER1, thanks for your suggestion. But Before trying out your solution, the problem is gone without me changing any settings. I believe it because the update from ImproveTube? My current ImproveTube version is 4.702. So now, with this bug gone ( I have checked with videos I previously mentioned, and the visual bug is no longer there ), I'll close this issue. Thank You all.
