Playlist video change freezes video playback till page reload
Bug Report:
⚬ BUG: Since 1-2 weeks every time I switch to the next/a different video in a playlist the video gets haltet (which, on it's own, is like I configured it (video & playlist - autoplay and up next play OFF)) but I can't start the video. I have to reload the page to play the video. And then I have to press play BEFORE I switch to full screen. If I switch playlist video, reload, go full screen and then press play the video isn't going to play.
⚬ HOW:
- Load a video from a personal playlist
- play it some time
- stop it
- change to another video from this playlist in the playlist window on the right
- click with the mouse in the video to play it -> it doesn't play
⚬ EXPECTED (/preferred) behavior: ...
- click with the mouse in the video to play it -> Video plays

Hi @PietroPizzi69 Thank you!
I don't think #1508 is the same. Maybe, because you opened it again, you think so too :)!?
I can add that the problem when I first go full-screen, after the reload, and then hit play, only sometimes occur, it seems after all that it mostly works. But the problem that I always have to reload the page after a video change stays true.
In the meantime I have updated to Vivaldi 5.6.2867.36, which doesn't eliminate the problem.
Did you need some log or something else?
@PietroPizzi69 yes :) no log. We need to find maintainers badly tho (and can't currently care for vivaldi. Yet this one might happen in all browsers)
Ok. I understand! I can test it, with my config, on Chrome also (on Linux and possibly Windows too).
I have now tested it on "Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.2251" with Chrome "Version 108.0.5359.99 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)" too. The Problem stays the same. I also tested it with the extension hidden and shown in the Addressbar, on both Systems (I had 1 o. 2 extensions in the past where this affects their functionality).

it may not be the same, but the problem sure did stop when I gave up and set both playlist and player's autoPlay to "true".
( I would add that, technically, the bug is that the video does play, only to stop a fraction of a second later. In my case, if I keep hitting k, the video eventually moves a discernible frame. )
I have a very similar annoying problem. It also started about 1 or 2 weeks ago. I'm using Chrome on MacOS and the extension version is 4.0.17. When I open a YouTube video in a new tab in background, wait until the loading progress around a favicon stops spinning, switch to that tab, press anywhere on the video progress bar, the video freezes and I can't unpause it. I have to reload the page.
@And-re are you using our feature 'only one player instance playing' ?
@ImprovedTube No. Here is everything I have in the "Active features" view:

@ImprovedTube I just tested it again with Incognito mode and it looks like even after a lot of attempts I don't have this issue when I'm not logged in to YouTube. But after logging in (in Incognito mode) the problem is back. After logging out, it works fine again.
hi guys! @And-re @PietroPizzi69 @m2habert autoplay / playlist autoplay bugs might be solved - or in part. looking forward to more input.
hey again @And-re @PietroPizzi69 @m2habert, did you still have any such issues / clues? - https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/1809
Sorry, I doesn't get the old bug fixed message. I have no problem at the moment with the settings turned on again and it worked as expected. Every video stops on load and I can start it normaly.
thanks! @PietroPizzi69 including all of #1508 ? @Anoaxx
