@afedosenko -- if you, too, are interested in such a fix, could you contribute a patch adding this feature? I don't foresee having the time in the near future.
I wonder if I should simplify this a little and just store anything with a `Content-Disposition` of `attachment` as a separate file. Let me think about it a little!
Sort of curious why the messages weren't encoded; iirc, encoding has been the default behavior for a really long time.
