Is project dead?

Last commit was in 2021. Just wondering if project is alive or dead (assuming second).

The v3.17 and v4 are usable, but you may need to apply a few bug fixes to them yourself. If you would prefer to use an actively maintained project, then consider trying this fork of cocos2d-x v4.

I checked the update notes, they are really active. Thanks for the info mate

That link is for Cocos Creator, and that is not the same thing as Cocos2d-x. If a developer requires a C++ engine, then given the state of Cocos2d-x, it's best they look elsewhere (such as this fork).
