Estimate the cost of a mirroring job

Would it be possible to look at the contents of the source s3 bucket and estimate the cost of a full mirroring job if the region is supplied?

FYI, I'm looking for tools to make complete mirrors of Maven Central available in all the AWS regions for people to do their own analysis of the contents of Maven Central.

interesting -- yes this would certainly be possible. if I have some free time I will try to get to it. and I'm always happy to look at a pull request if you're interested in doing the work.
