split2 0.2.1 npm package contains .*.un~ editor files
The list of files installed by npm is:

This is probably fixed upstream in split2, which is at version 2.1.1.
The split2 package comes from stylelint@7.9.0 -> doiuse@2.5.0 -> ldjson-stream@1.2.1 -> split2 0.2.1
All intermediate packages are the latest, so the problem is with ldjson-stream's use of a very old split2.
