Should romtool be able to read/create AmigaOS ROM Update files?

OS 3.9 (and maybe 3.5?) use a bundle of ROM modules to load resident with SetPatch, AmigaOS ROM Update. It seems like the format of the file has been figured out (see http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=79968 )

I think it would be useful to be able to build a ROM Update file, and to be able to extract them. I'm prepared to put some time into attempting to teach amitools to do this, but before I start, I'd like to know if it would be accepted into the main tree.

Again: Contributions welcome! I've read the mentioned thread already and thought of adding this feature myself... but I think you'll be faster because its not top prio on my todo list :)
