Fatal error: virtual memory mapping block (ref closed issue #108)
Hi! I just got the same fatal error message using NEXUS 4.3 nxsbuild. Didn't see any other hints on the command line, so was glad to see some discussion about it here.
I tried a few of MeshLab's repair options but it's a 1GB ply so trying is pushing my laptop to its limit. Any advice would be welcomed.
Best, Roger

By the way, I also tried processing the original textured obj but got the same error. The obj mesh was made by others a year ago and not easily remade. FWIW it opens in MeshLab and CloudCompare. Just not sure what to do to remove the offending elements. If it would help I can post it in either binary ply or obj/mtl/png format on WeTransfer and email you a link.
Sure, send me the model (ply, if you can, it's smaller and faster) and I will investigate the issue.
Thanks @ponchio. I have emailed you a link to the file. Thanks very much in advance for your help!
Hi Roger,
I think I already fixed this bug, but I have not issued a new
release yet. You can download the latest executables from this link:
https://github.com/cnr-isti-vclab/nexus/actions
just be careful to pick the 'master' branch, not the 'version3' ones.
Ciao,
Federico

Ah, Federico, you are right, you did already have it fixed! So sorry then to have distracted you but thanks for your guidance on where to find the fixed executable. I ran it - and some time and 14 levels later, the results were Amazing!
Thanks again, Roger
