Right, found the problem! My config was adding embedded `` tags, so I was ending up with: ```html ``` The outer ones were being stripped, the inner ones not....

This happens to me too, on hyprlock 0.5.0, with the monitor line. ill look into how to build in debug, i'm nixos and quite new to it.
For me, I'd like to use them for desktop naming in hyprland, and for the clock. And it's hard to form these without glyphs.
I mean, there is no _need_ for nerdfont as such? it is just, as the name says, a font to do nerdy things in a nice and convenient way, isn't...
