Benefit to the Landscape
Just like in the early days of kubernetes when it was considered just a container orchestrator, however users later discovered that it could serve as a control plane with extensible API.
Alustan as a project assumes argocd to be in that early phase where it is considered a container delivery tool, however has the potential to evolve as kubernetes where the argocd API is extensible enough such that users can build on functionality and extend to implement preferred best practices.
The project does not just serve as a continuous delivery orchestrator but also as a functional reference implementation
