Colored chat = Colored IRC?

Hello! I am in the progress of configuring PurpleIRC for my BungeeCord instance, and I noticed that when you chat with colors in your text, the IRC logs have the '&4' instead of the color. I know IRC supports colors, so is there a way you can add colors? Thanks!

Can I see the debug output from your server log? just type "/irc debug t" to enabke debug mode and then send a few colored messages. Then send me the debug output. You can use "/irc debug f" to turn off debug mode. Are you using a plugin to created to colored chat?
