Issue in checking tauola when madraph + pythia

We have issues validating a case where we use madraph + pythia + tauola, see an example at EXO-Run3Summer23wmLHEGS-00568

We get the error msg from here https://github.com/cms-sw/genproductions/blob/e8c66206ffc8b8881a8fdcd95b1853c7b006b534/bin/utils/request_fragment_check.py#L171 but the tauola is getting checked later in the code https://github.com/cms-sw/genproductions/blob/e8c66206ffc8b8881a8fdcd95b1853c7b006b534/bin/utils/request_fragment_check.py#L203

So I think the code needs some reordering, could you please have a look?
