Cards for WH production with kappa scan of charm yukawa coupling

We would like to ask this cards to be reviewed in order to have a Run-2 UL production of WH samples with varied charm quark yukawa couplings.

Hi @ralfschmieder the cards look ok, can you please move the folder under : https://github.com/cms-sw/genproductions/tree/master/bin/MadGraph5_aMCatNLO/cards/production/2017/13TeV

This is the place for all the UL productions.

Dear @bbilin and @menglu21,

We can remove completely the paramcard, but we need to ask a few clarifications.

  • In our paramcard, we have the definition of the MU_R variable 1, which is missing in the default paramcard: is it needed?
  • In our paramcard, we have the definition of some 'quantum numbers' [2] variables, missing in the default paramcard: is it needed?
  • In our paramcard, the Yukawa couplings are defined at the Higgs mass 3, meaning we should defined all of them again in the customizecard.

We need some advice on this three points. If it is reasonably straightforward to fix the differences, we can proceed by removing our paramcard, otherwise it will be much easier to keep the configuration as it is.

Hello, sorry for the delay. I didn't follow the discussion from the beginning, but in principle what you write in the customize card will simply update the parameters of the param card of the particular model you are considering (from the UFO file). The other parts of the param card will not change, so this means you should write in the customize card only the settings you want to change.

thank you for the reply @lviliani our question is weather we can keep the param_card.dat in the repository. @bbilin requested our param_card.dat to be removed as we use a custumize_card.dat. But our param_card.dat differs a bit from the default param_card.dat (see Nicolos comment) and therefore we asked to keep it.
