Problem using in Shiny

Open happyshows opened this issue 9 years ago • 10 comments

Hi,

I have installed the 1.1.2 version and am trying to use this package in shiny. However when I ran my application I saw the following error msg:

Error in addResourcePath(prefix, dependency$src$file) : addResourcePath called with invalid prefix; please see documentation

Not quite ready for use in Shiny yet. You can include it though in ui as just an output datacomb. Thanks for the report.

@timelyportfolio could you provide a minimal example?

Well, @happyshows, my proposed method fails with same error that you reported. I'll dig a little deeper. Sorry.

@cmpolis this package is really great! Any news on having a shiny-ready version?

@timelyportfolio any chance to get this fantastic package solidified with a shiny version?

Unfortunately javascript source still has bugs, so can't justify time spent on R side.

Sorry, all! Will put some cycles in this weekend towards fixing js/Shiny compatibility.

@cmpolis Any luck?

(apologies for pestering!)

@cmpolis Ping. Is this project still alive?

Many thanks!

Hi @smartinsightsfromdata - unfortunately, I am not working on this project currently. AFAICT, there are others using it, but no other developers. If you have a PR for this, I will definitely review and merge! + making the widget shiny compatibly should be mostly minor changes/config changes and not require going through the codebase in depth
