Potential Features
When I was looking for an example of a Material toggle to mimic, I came across this post that has lots of little ideas that I may get around to implementing.
Listing them here so I don't forget.
- [ ] Toggle centered I/O labels. (For full words like 'ON'/'OFF') (Also, optional offsets?)
- [ ] Label optionally on left / right aligned toggle.
- [ ] Optional sub-label (e.g.: "Microcopy description")
- [ ] On-knob labels. (Like A11y labels, but for instance for a check/x on top of the knob.)
- [ ] Image-based frame? (e.g.: Day/Night mode)
- [ ] Image-based knob / knob glyph? (Eg: Sun/Moon)
- [ ] Drop shadows? Knob/Frame?
- [ ] Toggle + Label frame (To strongly associate the toggle with the label.)
- [ ] Animation easing?
- [ ] Knob inset for on/off, as well as animating between.
I also want to have a small pack of "ready to go" styles for users to easily hit something they're looking for without too much effort, like the ones displayed on that page.
- [ ] iOS style
- [ ] Material style
- [ ] Salesforce
- [ ] Office UI / Fabric
- [ ] Kendo UI
- [ ] The hollowed out ones from their "Test":
