Can we make bigger cursor for disabled kids
We are working with disabled kids with very limited capabilities. Most of them can't control their hands but control their head (also limited). So we wrote special application with very large buttons for them to control some home appliances. EVA is working well with this application!! The kids are very happy! Some of the kids are visually impaired and can't see the small cursor I wish we could have a much bigger and clearer cursor for them. Is it possible?
EVA allows you to choose the size of the user interface elements. Go to: "Settings > Accessibility > EVA Facial Mouse > Settings" and adjust "Interface elements size"

Yesterday we did an experiment with several kids and some of them could operate the system with Eva very easily and were very happy. You can see in the following clips how they control a mixer with EVA

But some of the less able kids had hard time to use Eva. (especially visually impaired kids)
- Can we make even bigger cursor?
- Can we change the cursor image/color?
- Can we remove the “Dock menu”? (Sometimes the kids click it by mistake)? (I know we can hide it by clicking on the “>” sign , but we have to remember to do it any time we switch on the system)

Adding an additional size or hiding the Action Menu is relatively easy and we will try to add it to the new release with will be publish in the forthcoming weeks. However, allowing to customize the pointer with an image requires more effort and I cannot provide an estimate yet.
To stay tuned to the latest updates keep an eye to Google Play where we will publish new releases. There is also a beta channel where we publish even newer versions of EVA for testing. To join the beta channel we just need a gmail address to add you.

Any news regarding the above new features?
Yes. Remove the Action Menu option has added to the v2.0.0beta published in the beta channel.
Added the other two features for the next development cycle.
- Can we make even bigger cursor?
- Can we change the cursor image/color?
These features have been added in version 2.1.0
