Logs are good, but stigmerge (and veilid) also need OTEL metrics. It's too hard to tell what's really happening in a peer.

This will be done with utmost respect to privacy. Metrics will not leave the peer, it'll only be for local debug & diagnostics, or possibly voluntary reporting, something like a search engine might show (this share has N active seeders in the past time window W for example).
