Format Limits will not change from 1024x720 on 1st gen Apple TV

I can no longer change the output format from 1024x720 to 960x540 when encoding for a 1st Gen Apple TV. I'm using version 0.12 of Video Monkey on an iMac running 10.7.1 Thanks.
