Why number of fitness function evaluation of MIMIC is more than the other three algorithms on a same problem?

I run the experiment on flip flop, continuous peak and traveling sales man, but all the plots of function evaluations indicate that MIMIC has much more function evaluation, which seems to be counter-intuitive. Why is this case?
