Spider-Man 2 mod feedback
I launched game and it gave an error message saying raytacing has been turned off because of it. UI brightness worked. Peak brightness didn't according to liliums analysis even in game slider did nothing. I was only on title screen so maybe a real time slider issue. I want raytraced reflections only in this so its a non starter for me. Any ideas?
After using updated liliums analysis. In game set to Peak 200 and UI set to 200. The peak slider now reads right. No ray tracing though.
I will investigate the issue, as I did not test with ray tracing enabled. Yes, you have to put both in-game sliders to 200, such that the RenoDX sliders can work properly. It's not like you will need the in-game sliders anymore
Yeah setting the sliders is no big deal compared to the hassle I had trying to fix the HDR with other workarounds and it still didn't look as good as this does. Oddly the game recompiles shaders when turning on raytracing. I will try and clear GPU cache later tonight and see if that makes a difference. Long shot I know.
Tried updated mod and cleared cache but it made no odds unfortunately.
Most RenoDX mods I have tried the peak and black floor level change depending on the scene. This one acts like dynamic tone mapping on where both are maxed. Thanks for trying though this seems like the holy grail of RenoDX mods to get right if it ever can be done.
I tried autohdr.addon which also has issues. Never seen it before but DLSSFG looks like double vision when moving although the raytracing doesn't crash it. Thought I would add the info as it looks like a reshade add on problem with this game specifically. What a mess they made.
