RenoDX + Optiscaler + OptiFG crashes on StarWars Jedi Survivor
I'm testing the new addon developed by @mqhaji for StarWars Jedi Survivor and it seems to work nicely alone, but as soon as I enable the frame generation using Optiscaler the game crashes to desktop. I really don't know if this can be solved only from the RenoDX side but what I know for sure is that ReShade + Optiscaler works with no issues in many other games, even when using RenoDX mods. So I believe that there is something special in this case. I hope that it can be solved because I know that the addon for this game is already a WIP.
Cheers 👍
I want to notice here, if it helps, that this issue also happens in Uncharted Legacy of Thieves game. It works only if OptiFG is not being enabled. Otherwise it crashes the game to desktop.
Yeah I'm gutted OptiFG and smooth motion both don't seem to work with RenoDX. I think the dev's are aware already. It could be something with reshade that needs updating. No idea really myself. If It's unlikely to be possible to fix I would rather know than hope.
Ok I found a fix for this (at least worked for returnal). You gotta upgrade R10G10B10A2_UNORM and then restart the game. Then turn on "FG immediate capture" to fix the flickering.

Thanks for the share will try when I get around to a game using optiFG.
It seems that unfortunately there is some kind of incompatibility issues between RenoDX mods and FG. Because it doesn't only happens with Optiscaler but it also crashes with games with native FG like GTA V Enhanced (the latest update comes with FSRFG and it crashes if RenoDX is loaded)
Have you tried the unofficially released reshade64.dll too? As using it makes smooth motion work with RenoDX it might make a difference. Doesn't for Optifg but might native.

Thanks for the tip but, Where can I get that unofficial release of ReShade?

https://github.com/crosire/reshade/actions click latest which is green I guess and scroll down. Not sure why it's kinda hidden.
