Issue regarding tunnel server

I would like to know that are you running the tunnel server on your Mac machine? This question is bugging me alot.

I'm having a tough time understanding the logic behind setTunnelNetworkSettings in the PacketTunnelProvider class. I don't know why NEPacketTunnelNetworkSettings's IPv4Settings are required and what's the purpose of the DNS settings too.

Sorry for asking these kinda questions, I'm a newbie to this Network Extension framework. I did alot of research regarding these issues but still the concept is not clear.

I will be very grateful if you help me out. Thanks.
