Factory settings on Hybrid Servo

For information purposes the factory setting for the hybrid servo kit from automation technologies is 4000 steps per rev. If you have watched James video on version 1.4.00 he mentioned saturation could happen at lower speeds. If you don’t change the steps per rev on the servo controller it could happen at much lower speeds. In my case, around 500 rpm at 8tpi. Do yourself a favor and buy the cable and a usb to serial adapter and set steps per rev to 1000. James posted his settings in my other issue “Servo not slowing with lathe”. In his config he sends 3000 pulses per rev to the servo, in my current config I’m sending 12,000 pulses per rev. I haven’t had any other issues with my current settings but to keep things consistent with others I am changing my setup from 4000 steps per rev to 1000 steps per rev.
