Provide better error message of what is going on
Hi,
cshark keeps failing on me and I double checked my config file. What now? ;-)
capturing traffic to file: '/tmp/cshark.pcap-Xsr4vc' ... 1 packets captured uploading capture ... cshark[3928]: cshark: received error, please double check your config file
cshark: received error, please double check your config file
For example, it would be helpful to know, what the actual HTTP status code is.
Thanks

Hi Lemmy,
I agree. The error reporting should be updated so that the error displayed can come from the json response returned by the CloudShark API or any errors returned by uclient which handles the uploading, such as a bad SSL certificate.
Thanks for reporting this. Just to clarify your problem has been fixed? Are you uploading to openwrt.cloudshark.org or www.cloudshark.org?
Thanks!
The latter. It works with www.cloudshark.org but doesn't with openwrt.cloudshark.org.
Hi Lemmy,
The new version of cshark will not work with openwrt.cloudshark.org. We are currently trying to migrate these users over to www.cloudshark.org. Thanks again for reporting and looking into this! I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue with the new version.
