Make Prometheus v3 available

As a Prometheus user I want to have the latest feature and improvements available to me. Therefore a new job named prometheus3 should be added to the Prometheus Bosh Release.

Current plan is to create a new major version beginning of 2025 that will include Prometheus3.

Hi @ChrisMcGowan thank you for asking. There have been some other topics on my plate lately in addition to some discussions on how to add Prometheus3 in a logical way.

Now that I have more time and we clarified on how to proceed internally, the work on getting Prometheus3 integrated will start soon.

I'm hoping with Prometheus3 that the cf-exporter job is updated to by 100% /v3 CAPI calls as well.

Cannot guarantee that. There is work ongoing for the cf-exporter but the person working on it has a lot on their plate at the moment.

Good to know. Hopefully it gets done soon as the CAPI V2 sunset is coming soon.

We merged the first two PRs to introduce Prometheus3 to the prometheus-boshrelease.
