Apple Silicon Support?

The support table only lists x86_64-apple-darwin, and not aarch64-apple-darwin. Is it actually unsupported? If so, could support be added?

I remember using it a while ago, and it seemed to at least create the interfaces --- it does seem like a conspicuous omission.
