api-licensing pod fails to pull the image from cp.icr.io/cp

I'm experiencing an issue during the installation of IBM Suite License Service operator and the installation of MAS Core failed to complete.

I see this error in the ibm-sls namespace: Failed to pull image "cp.icr.io/cp/ibm-sls/api-licensing@sha256:9059ad3b75c950f70e2502c42f5b794024c9622c2ca93b112e8e38eb2311810f": rpc error: code = Unknown desc = reading manifest sha256:9059ad3b75c950f70e2502c42f5b794024c9622c2ca93b112e8e38eb2311810f in cp.icr.io/cp/ibm-sls/api-licensing: manifest unknown: manifest unknown

I tried to change the registry to icr.io/cpopen in the License Service as indicated here. However, the MAS Operator is reverting the registry back to cp.icr.io/cp few minutes after.

Where I can update the registry to icr.io/cpopen permanently?
