Module idea: Nebulae v2 inspired granular Sampler

Hello! Great job on your modules! Would you be interested in developing something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftDLRYnRYZQ

Hi Giovanni,

A few of my modules use granluar synthesis. Is the a particular feature of granular synthesis that you'd like to see implemented that hasn't already?

Thanks for the feedback!

Hey, thanks for responding fast. Yeah of course, i'm not asking for all the functionalities of Nebulae 2. I'm looking for some specific features which, i hope, shouldn't be much of a hassle to implement, but that i couldn't find in your modules. 1 - You choose a samples folder and automatically all files are loaded into memory and the first one starts playing without the need for a trigger/gate (as you can see in the video Nebulae doesn't have any input connected). This mimics plugging the usb pen inside the unit; 2 - You can select the current sample via knob or via CV (I know many of your modules do that already, but it would be cool for all these features to be integrated in one single module); 3 - Speed knob goes from reverse to forward (as in Nebulae); 4 - Freeze CV; 5 - Window size CV;

I honestly don't know if this is a lot of work. I hope not :) Also, i've already developed some basic modules (MANTRA) for Rack. If you need it, i can create a panel for you.

Oh! Thank you for clarifying. I didn't know that you were referring to the nebula in your original question. I'm fairly busy working on a new granular synth module that takes external input - like a weird effect processor, which has window size, freeze, and reverse play. But it doesn't take samples.

Your request is so similar to some of my existing modules that I may focus on new ideas. But if you'd like, maybe I can help you build one yourself? I would be happy to help!
