Could you pass the STEP inputs through to the GATE outputs? It isn't really outputting gates as is, more fixed length triggers.

That's a good point. Technically it is outputting fixed length triggers. I will add an option to pass the STEP inputs through to the GATE outputs. I'll keep you posted.
