Guide in Proxy? (and comparison with reify and protocols)

Just wanted to throw the idea out there for 2 reasons:

• I think a comprehensive guide for using proxy is missing. While toying with Swing I wanted to genuinely extend a class and implement several interfaces at the same time, and a walk through type of guide would have helped.
• When limiting the scope to implementing interfaces, there is an overlap in their capability and making a choice on which way to go is hard without a guideline.
