Heroku: no option! What to use

I recently bought the book “Getting MEAN WITH MONGO, EXPRESS, ANGULAR, AND NODE (second edition)” In chapter 3.5 (Making it live on Heroku) makes it possible to deploy the website to a live production server on/at Heroku. In $ 3.5.1. it is said that “Before you can use Heroku, you need to sign up for a free account and install the Heroku CLI on your development machine.”.

How ever: as of 22th november 2022, it is not possible to sign up for a free account. Is it possible that you inform me about another PaaS provider, and give me instructions (i am a newbie 😊) how to make things work? It would be great if the authors make an addendum for the parts of the book which refer to Heroku.

I looked into Heroku again and the offer rather affordable way for setting up a service. so i go along with them
