Now the app stores all data in the cloud storage (except settings). Does it necessary to have an ability to backup/restore notes and settings via file? Probably it is more convenient to add the ability to store settings in the cloud also.

Hello Yes, on the Cloud is good. But the synchronization is activated and permanent, in case of bad action, for example deletion or emptying of the clipboard, if we notice that a note or several notes have not been marked as favorites (we forgot!). These notes are lost because the action is duplicated on the other devices automatically. We can't go back or cancel the operation.
A backup would be useful.

For such case we have plans to add a category “Trash Bin” where all deleted notes will be placed to and fully deleted only after some period of time. I do not tell that we do not want to do export/import, just want to understand the problem more deeply and suggest some solutions that the app will do automatically without manual steps.

Very good idea the trash. But having the ability to export and import your notes would be useful (the android version fills this gap).
