Keyboard Companion notification should be persistent

Open ErrrorMaxx opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Keyboard Companion feature produces non-persistent notification (It can be discarded by user) and that's a problem!

When notification is discarded it appears again. But after some time it disappears completely! So I can't quickly open companion by just clicking on notification!

App still works in background (Notes from Clipboard is working fine), accessibility service still works. I still can open companion from quick access panel, but not from notification!

Device: Realme 7 Android: 10 & 11

P.S. Sorry for my bad English

I might be misunderstanding part of what you mean so if I am... Some of this can be ignored.

Do you have battery optimization for clipto disabled? I've never seen the notification for clipto disappear or be able to be swiped away. Also check your system notification settings. Also make sure you check if the app is crashing. On my phone it's under device care>battery in the settings.

As for the kb companion specifically... I don't think it produces it's own notification. At least I've never seen one for it.
