Do you support custom application settings and data sections? does Illumina?

The V2 specification allows for application settings in the sample sheet. E.g for BCL Convert. Does sample-sheet support adding these application sections? and can you make your own application sections? and if you do does anyone know if Illumina software ignores any application sections it doesn't recognize?

Thanks again for this great library and the continued support of it.
