Icons problem

I am getting an output with no icons(no numbers from "icons" folder), its setting only the background. Any ideas?

Found solution, it was all in OS. I installed "3.5inch-2016-05-27-raspbian-jessie.img" and pygame would be able to put numpads.

I know nobody will respond to this, but I'm having an icon issue too. I updated the code a bit to get it to work with more recent versions of python, but it doesn't work.

I saw the notification and even though I can't help, I had to respond. I looked through a few of the forks and it doesn't look like too many folks (including myself) have been working on this project in the past 8 years. Plus this is still Legacy Python, so a full refactor is where I would recommend starting.
