Packaging e.g.

• Ubuntu Snaps (also for other Linux distros) or PPA
• Windows Chocolatey (https://docs.chocolatey.org/en-us/create/create-packages)
• Something for macOS

The main advantages are that it's easier to update the versions for users and that things such as systemd service files and sane defaults can be included.
