Clementine randomly hangs at the end of a song

System information

• Operating System: Xubuntu 22.04.1
• Clementine version: 1.4.0rc1-873-g3471134d5

Expected behaviour / actual behaviour

Clementine is working just fine, playing a randomized mix of songs from my master playlist. Then it gets to the end of some song and just hangs there forever, failing to move forward to the next song. I can use my keyboard shortcuts for Next or Prev to get things moving again. The problem appears random. It is not repeatable if you replay the song. Sometimes I see this happen a couple of times in one day, and then it can go 3-4 days without incident.

Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)

None other than let it play for a while.

I just wanted to follow up on this my saying that this halting at the end of the song used to be a rare occurrence but with the recent builds I'm now seeing this happen with greater frequency during the day. Is anyone else seeing this behavior? If so, please report it here.

Same issue on debian, freeze at end song or at middle(slider continue but no sound, or slider simply freezed with sound), or pause song(by keyboard shortcut) but unpause don't work. I switched 1 time(on linux) to strawberry fork and same issue, strawberry/clementine work fine with same playlist on windows10.

This week i moved song from windows partition to linux partition and deleted config folder(new db), same issue. It's really random, on a playlist of 15 tracks any freeze, 5 play and 6th freeze, next day 3 play and 4th freeze etc. The music is in the same folder, all ogg.

Xubuntu 22.04.2

I just built the latest version, 1.4.0rc1 #889 and started using it. Withing 10 minutes it hung at the end of a song. For me the hang is always at the end of a song and it requires a forced "playerctl next" to move on. Nothing seems to be improving on this front.

FYI: I just upgraded to build #910 and the problem remains.
