Nextcloud gPodder sync does not work

Recently I found the Nextcloud Gpodder Sync project. Unfortunately in Clementine I cannot edit the URL to point it toward my Nextcloud instance (feature request 1). Even if that would be possible, apparently Nextcloud has a method to grant 3rd party applications access (which would be feature request 2). Both would need to be implemented in Clementine to get it functional.
