Expected behaviour / actual behaviour
Forgive me if this is something well known that I failed to find searching here or google.
Clementine will happy play mp4 aac and Flac files but mp3s fail with "Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in." Is there a way for me to get mp3 support?
(I tried compiling from source but while I managed to figure out how to get cmake to complete make failed with a ton of errors that my non-programmer mind couldn't wrap around)
@fyrefiend - have you found the solution/answer?
Same happened for me with playing my soma.fm/di.fm playlist, with 1.4.0rc2 (but then I realized it's clementine-1.4.0rc1-826 for mac: for some reason all other OSes files are rc2 O_o),
As I see it stopped playing mp3 streams (but keeps playing aac btw).
I rolled back to the very older one and it returned back to playing as before, for mp3 streams
@nugged sadly, no. I’ve switched over to Audacious for now, though I much prefer Clementine’s interface.
I just tested - the latest one which works is 1.4.0rc1-777-g24a766d0e
then 1.4.0rc1-781-ge69ceb25d stopped to work.
Thanks for testing, @nugged!
but Mac 1.4.0rc1-781-ge69ceb25d doesn't support scrobble to last.fm 😭
