System information
Please provide information about your system and the version of Clementine used.
- Operating System: Linux Debian "testing"
- Clementine version: 1.4 rc2 (Debian package 1.4.0~rc1+git347-gfc4cb6fc7+dfsg-1+b1)
- Also tested on 1.4.0rc1-471-gb989a674a from the link above
- Desktop environment: Xfce 4.12.5
Expected behaviour / actual behaviour
Expected: Scrolling over the tray icon should either increase/decrease the volume or change tracks, according to preferences.
Observed: Nothing happens.
Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)
- Open Clementine
- Play something
- Try scrolling with mouse button3 on tray icon
This works for me with xfce, however, it I had to go into the settings page and press "Ok", so I guess the settings page and the consumer of the setting use different defaults when it hasn't been set.
When I try on a desktop environment with a fancy sound widget, it doesn't work, even though qt thinks there's a tray icon.
This was working for me with XFCE in the past. But at least from now on (i wasn't using Clementine in some time) with XFCE 4.14 on Ubuntu 20.10 with Clementine 1.4 rc2 it is not working anymore.
Other tray-icons (PulseAudio-Modul, Laptop-Backlight-Control) work as expected when scrolling on them.
