xdg-open not working on KDE Plasma

The command xdg-open is not working to open files or urls.

For example, if I have a file called text.txt, then xdg-open text.txt doesn't open the file.

Clearlinux build: 42770 xdg-open version: 1.1.3 Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma

Ok I just found the "fix". We just have to edit /usr/bin/xdg-open, look for the function open_kde() and replace 4 with 6 in the third line of this function.

probably needs an update. however, xdg-utils is no longer updating on portland.freedesktop.org/download URL for latest version: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/-/archive/v1.2.1/xdg-utils-v1.2.1.tar.gz
