[REQUEST] Official spin for KDE Plasma
Hi everyone,
as title said I'd like to ask an official spin (as called in Fedora) version for Clear Linux with KDE preinstalled. Lots of us prefer it over GNOME (and personally I prefer it because it's much more optimized and with much more personalization compared to GNOME). Is it possible to release it instead of installing the version with GNOME/install KDE bundle/remove GNOME bundle/debug errors and residual files from GNOME?
ok so there's two parts in the request
- An image with KDE on it
- An image with all gnome stuff removed the second is very very hard -- the desktop worlds are very intertwined and you're going to get some gnome stuff.
the first part is mostly a disk space/bandwidth question for us -- we'll look but otherwise starting with the server install and adding kde can be done

Well, I don't expect to see a build without any gnome things but at least with a KDE de without the need to install gnome and then change the de. Obviously I don't expect this bug to be fixed in one day 😅
