Ease and promote the creation of distributions based on ClearLinux

Popular distributions such as Debian, Ubuntu, Arch, etc. have people building distributions based on them - offering fantastic results and choice to the Linux community.

Is there a reason nobody has created a spin-off based on ClearLinux? Maybe a technical reason? Maybe you could be more open? Maybe you need to write a guide on how to do it or make a video series which builds a new distribution based on ClearLinux.

we actually designed for this and we know of some folks who are doing this --- a lot of this is around the mixer tool

It would be nice to speed this up. If there is a more user-friendly first spin-off with a big community, many others will follow. Maybe you should support or even spearhead this first attempt.
