clang 17.0.5 in clearlinx 40410 crashes when building linux kernel

A fix has been posted on https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/commit/f800c1f3b207e7bcdc8b4c7192928d9a078242a0. However, that will not be included in future releases of llvm version 17.

If upstream decided that this wasn't impotannt enough to backport or was too risky to backport, why should we?
