octave-del or octave-devels bundle question / request

I'm looking to use octave and typically use the octave-dev package on ubuntu (it's corresponding rpm is octave-devel) -- my use case fails because this is missing on clearlinux. Is there a workaround? If not, I would like to request that the octave-devel be included as a clearlinux bundle from what I've read it ought to meet the guidelines for inclusion.
