I have added the psystem as a test, including writing these things out. But I need help (from @ahmadia) checking the output files.

Did this test ever get worked out? I am moving some data objects around and wanted to make sure that this is still working and if not to find a work around.

actually I've previously added a test for gauges but it was failing for some choices for -np in parallel run

Was it disabled then in the nosetests? I ask because I may have changed some path stuff with gauges and wanted to make sure everything still worked.

Actually it is not disabled. The test is in: pyclaw / apps / psystem_2d / test_2d_psystem.py

I think I will disable it until I fix it. Actually the issue is related to determining gauges indices in parallel. but for serial run and for example 4 processes it worked..

I'm looking into it now..
