What happened?

I recently created a wallet pass on https://covid19passbook.netlify.app/ and tried to add it to my iPhone wallet. A message appeared on the screen “Safari cannot download this file”. My iPhone has IOS 15.6.1 - and I have never before had any problem with the covid19passbook site.
